The award-winning Folk on Foot podcast re-united some of the top names in UK folk for a third online festival on Bank Holiday Monday August 31st 2020. The podcast’s first two festivals raised over £190,000 for musicians who lost their livelihoods during the Covid lockdown.
Folk on Foot Festival 3 – TOGETHER AGAIN – saw performers getting out of their front rooms to film 30 minute sets in spectacular or quirky locations. Many were playing together in person for the first time since lockdown.
The six-and-a-half hour show was co-presented in Sheffield by Folk on Foot host Matthew Bannister and musician Nancy Kerr, with Simpson, Cutting, Kerr as the “house band”. It was streamed on the Folk on Foot YouTube channel and Facebook page.
