For all lovers of Fiddle music and players of fiddle, be that folk music, country, jazz...whatever it is if you're a fiddler player then this would make a brilliant mug for you.

The original inspiration for the “Keep Calm” designs was created by the British government’s Ministry of Information in 1939 as part of the war efforts to boost the morale of the British people at the outset of World War Two.
An agency called His Majesty's (King George) Stationery Office designed three posters all of which featured King George the Sixth's crown and these were to be displayed all around Great Britain. The first was "Your courage, your cheerfulness, your resolution will bring us victory", the second was "Freedom is in peril" and these were posted throughout the country. The third design however was saved for a potential German invasion of Great Britain and the original text was “Keep Calm and Carry On”.
Obviously the invasion never happened and all the posters were supposedly destroyed, but one surfaced in a book shop around the year 2000 and it just took off from there really.
It’s particularly appropriate in these current times when everyone could benefit from being reminded occasionally to keep calm….and play the fiddle.

Every time you drink from this gorgeous mug you’ll be reminded to keep calm, and ideally if you drink from it whilst playing your instrument then that’s a double bonus. I don’t think it really matters whether it’s tea, coffee or beer / wine that you’re drinking. We’ve tried drinking wine out of one of these and it’s still pretty good – we won’t judge you :)
